Where Old Town meets Södermalm, Christopher Polhem’s magnificent 18th-century lock connected Lake Mälaren to the sea until 1850. Iconic red wooden gates were reflected in the water there, lending the site its distinctive character. Röda Slussen 01 - part of the Historiska Hem collection - is a light, warm, and soft yellow-red sand tone.
