During the 17th century, the fascinating building known as Lejonkulan (The Lion’s Den) stood at Slottsbacken. The site originally housed the king’s live lions before being transformed into Sweden’s first permanent theater stage; it was eventually demolished in 1689. Lejonkulan 01—part of the Historiska Hem collection—radiates light vanilla tones and sunshine, creating a vibrant atmosphere in the room.
